Yes, the two “stars” that thrilled you in “Man of La Mancha” are coming back to show their talents once again. Shown here rehearsing their parts in a scene from “Fiddler on the Roof” are Susan Pastorini and Jason Herfurth. Jason and Susan, who played Don Quixote and Aldonza last fall, are set to astound you again.

Susan Pastorini became a member of the VAT almost as soon as she moved here a few years ago, performing in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Sunshine Boys,” “Office Hours” and “Man of La Mancha.” In addition, Susan has also served as the Executive Producer for Matinee Theatre.

As Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof,” we get to see her considerable acting “chops” once again, both musically and comically in the lead female role.

Jason walked onstage for the first time at The Villages in a Matinee Theatre performance of “Stories I Ain’t told Nobody Yet” and hasn’t looked back. Following the heavy-duty role of Don Quixote last fall, he has stepped into the lead male role of Tevye in “Fiddler.” Jason’s singing and acting will amaze and delight you.

“Fiddler” opens at Cribari on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale in the Sequoia Room from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, April 19.

And remember, by showing a copy of your ticket for the performance day, you receive 10 percent off dinner in the clubhouse.
