18 Hole Ladies’ golf rained out again

Well, another day of rain meant golf and lunch were cancelled but the bridge groups played on! With the promise of a beautiful, sunny day, the Past Captain’s luncheon and the February Captain’s Trophy will be on February 20.

Lois and Ron Hayes wanted the 18-Hole ladies to know that their beloved daughter, Patti, passed away peacefully at 2 a.m. As our 2011 Co-Captain, her “School Daze” Invitational was a delight and reflected her many years as a teacher. She was our Captain in 2012, our Club Champion in 2013 and 2017 and awarded the Outstanding Service Award in 2015. Many of us will remember her great Thursday jokes and the years she ran the Horse Race. She is pictured here with Paulette Wrightson and her mom, Lois Hayes. A Celebration of Life is being planned for later in the Spring.

The Charity Tournament will be March 13. Donations will be made to UCSF Melanoma Research. We will have a really fun format with special events on four holes and a wonderful guest speaker. Get your foursome together and plan on a great round supporting a great cause. Signups will be on Cobalt starting February 26.
