18 Hole Women: ‘Step Aside, Rain!’

Gisele Barber, Susan Anderson and Millie Anne Schwerin put on a delightful, Step-Aside Mixer for the combined 18 Hole and 9 Hole Clubs. Happy smiles around the lunch tables came from the friendly team format, the great scores and the beautiful weather. The Flight 3 winners were Karen Carlson, Bev Rees, Judy Owen and Donna Quartaro. Flight 2 winners included Diana Flanigan, Bev Poellot, Gloria Lowry and Jan Kiernan. Flight 1 winners were Priscilla Piper, Janet Gonzales, Kay Gray and Marie LeBlanc. Closest to the Pin on Hole 4 were Judy Rodriguez and Judy Steinburg with Mazie Rice and Andrea Alverez on Hole 6. 

Our Charity Tournament will support UCSF Melanoma Research and registration is already open on Cobalt. Sign up as a foursome or individually and plan to buy a team advantage on four holes…the flyer and rules sheet will be emailed soon.

The 18 Hole ladies are delighted to welcome new member, Lisa Smith. Lisa is a new Villager, still working at Google, and plans to play with our Saturday group whenever she can’t play on Thursday. 

The beautiful bunker project is ramping up for a speedy completion. How many holes and which holes can be played will be updated on a daily basis through the month of March. Please check your email daily for any updates!
