18 Hole Women welcome beautiful November golf
Local Rules Update—A new local rule for The Villages which went into effect last week will be a great relief to all of us, especially on holes with water hazards. If your ball comes to rest on or near a goose dropping, and/or that goose dropping has adhered on your ball, you are entitled to lift, clean and replace your ball within 6 inches of its original location, with no penalty. Additionally, you may move goose droppings to avoid interference. What a great solution to a messy problem!
Our officers were elected for 2025. These ladies give tirelessly of their time to give all of us a chance to play, socialize and have fun. When you see them, be sure to thank them and plan to attend the Installation Luncheon on December 5.

With threatening weather we had only 37 women playing but we had a great time. Camille had a great golf joke and Judy reminded us about the Turkey Shoot. Shooting well today included Millie Anne Schwerin (Hole 11) and Monica Saneholtz (Hole 7) who shot birdies plus Bev Poellot (Hole 4) and Gloria Landry (Hole 18) who had chip ins.

11/21 Turkey Shoot
11/28 Thanksgiving (No club play)
12/5 Installation/Holiday Luncheon
12/12 Last Play Day
12/19 Open Play/No Sweeps
