Bocce Holiday Party

What a fun evening the Bocce Club had last Friday, December 6. Sold out as always, about 150 members and guests put on their holiday finery to enjoy great food, wonderful music and socializing with bocce friends. Great to just chat and catch up and not worry about who’s going to get closer to the pallino.

The food service was started with crudites, wine and sparkling waters. Then the main buffet, chicken, salmon and sides, catered by Maggianos, was served by Wendy Ledamun and her volunteers. This was Wendy’s last hurrah as social director and she went out with her usual fantastic job. Her bocce volunteers did a great job with the appetizers and the delicious salmon.

Many volunteers spent the afternoon dressing up the tables, wrapping the silverware and decorating with the beautiful centerpieces.

Throughout the evening, music for listening and then dancing was provided by System 9, a Bay area band that was been entertaining us for three years and over 20 years in the area. They are always entertaining with their easy listening and rock and roll and dance tunes.

A great time was had by all and now looking forward to Bocce in 2025. Watch for the Skilz classes coming as well as referee courses and the always helpful bocce bootcamp. For more info and photos, visit https://villagesbocce.vgcc.club
