The bunker project is really starting to take shape as the bunker surrounds are being sodded. They look beautiful and Scott has advised us that when the holes reopen, the grass area around the bunkers will be ground under repair until the grass takes root. It will be free relief where you will find the closest point not in the ground under repair area and drop within 1 club length no nearer the hole.
Tuesday was a chilly but beautiful day on the course and there were some great scores in both flights. Congratulations to all our winners.
In the first flight Suzy Kim and Kathy Apgar had net 32 with Suzy winning in a score card off. They were followed by Jay Lee, Sue Park, Sheryl Driskell, Renee Woolard, Susan Sunzeri and Judy Steinberg.
The second flight winners were Josephine Chan followed by Betty Garcia, Song Cho, Nancy Dawn, Joy Rem, Madeline Naftzger, Pam Short and Nancy Carson.
Our final tournament of 2024 was our Holiday Tournament and Luncheon on December 17.
