On Wednesday, March 20, join us for an unforgettable excursion to the legendary USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum in Alameda, followed by a hearty German feast at Speisekammer. Step aboard one of America’s most iconic aircraft carriers, the USS Hornet and dive into the history of naval aviation and space exploration. This floating museum offers visitors the chance to explore the ship’s deck, engine rooms, flight simulators, and aircraft displays.
Following the tour, satisfy your appetite at Speisekammer, a charming German restaurant. Known for its warm hospitality and traditional fare, they will serve us up a delicious German buffet complete with meats and cheeses, bratwurst, spaetzle, pretzels with tangy mustard and an assortment of German salads. History buffs, adventure seekers, and food lovers, mark your calendars for a day packed with excitement and indulgence!
We will depart from Cribari East Parking Lot at 8 a.m. with an estimated return time of 5 p.m.
