The Ironmen are in afternoon play, gathering every Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start, sweeps, birdie pool, and closest to the pin.
Thursday, January 16, 2025, was another sunny and warm day. Perfect for golf. Fourteen Ironmen played.
Bob Pritchard won Third Place with a net 28; Mario Silva won Second Place with a net 27; and Clayton Krinard won First Place with a net 25.
There was one Birdie by Larry Dorsey on hole 2.
Hiei Takazawa won Closest to the Flag on hole 7 at 15 feet even.
Clayton Krinard won Low Gross with a 30.
Golfer of the Day honors went to Clayton Krinard with a first place finish and low gross. Way to go, Clayton.
A reminder: If every Ironman at every game would take the time to fill in all divots and green damage noticed during each week’s game, we would be making a big contribution toward maintaining our own course.
The Ironmen 9 hole, par 3 group would love to add new members. We are a very sociable group, and play basically pressure-free golf. And the first round is on us. Just call Jerry Juracich at 408-440-8283. You can also visit our website at https://ironmen.vgcc.club
