Swati is a new Villager, having moved here from Cupertino. She is offering a four-week watercolor class to engage you during the winter doldrums. This class is for people who work during the day and for other night owls. It will be held Mondays, February 3 to 24 in the Art Room from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The cost is $70 if you bring your own paints, brushes and watercolor paper. Swati has over 15 years of teaching experience and has a master’s degree in Art. She has taught art to students of all ages—from elementary school to high school to adults to elders. Watercolor is her favorite medium.
Swati is an artist and an art teacher. She strongly believes in the role of art in enriching human lives, and its health benefits not only for mental health but healing and overall well-being.
