Victor Kairis, also known as Mr. Holiday, passed away on November 17, 2024. Vic grew up and went to college in Chicago. He earned two degrees, one in physics and the other in commerce. Vic came to California during a cold Chicago winter. When he returned, he looked for a job that could bring him back to sunny California! Vic had a long career in electronics. Vic met his wife Betty on the tennis court and they were married for 43 years. Vic and Betty moved to The Villages in December of 1999.
Vic loved a party! He entered the 4th of July parade with decorated golf carts three times. He and Betty were members of the Italian and German clubs. Additionally, Vic started a Village gourmet dinner group, but his claim to fame was dressing up as the Easter Bunny for the brunches held at the club house. Vic is survived by Betty, two sons, a daughter and seven grandchildren. We are sure Vic is raising his wine glass in heaven.
