On January 25, 13 members of the Villages Study Groups Club’s Local Tours Group visited the Annieglass factory in Watsonville. A designer took the group on a tour through the workings of the factory where she explained each step of the process in the context of the specified equipment. This factory is where a team of master glassmakers handcraft exquisite glass tableware and home decor by melting regular glass that is then molded on forms created by the craftsmen. The group was able to browse and shop in the factory store for these unique and captivating glass pieces.
