March 8 is the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament – 2 BB Net (with Shamrock Ball), four-man, shotgun 8 a.m. Teams, flighted, optional Pot O’ Gold cash pool – coffee/donuts shotgun at 8 a.m.
April 12 is Spring Open – Stableford, 2BB, 4-Man Teams, Flighted. Coffee/Donuts – Shotgun-8 a.m.
January Eagle Shooters
David Gonzales is a regular in the Eagle Shooter section and there is no wonder why. On January 12 on hole #2 David hit a big drive then striped a six iron from 180 yards out, then got his ball to come to rest within 5 feet of the cup. Of course, he made the putt or else we wouldn’t be talking about him! David drained a speedy downhiller for the Eagle 3! Nice job buddy.
What an accomplishment for Kirk Harding. He was really golfing his ball on the 25th and was able to achieve a milestone that most mere mortals only dream of. Kirk had an eagle 3 on hole #9. Pure goodness my friend… Hope you have many more!
It didn’t take this new Villager long to get his picture in the paper.
The new sand traps on #2 did not strike fear into the heart of Ira Wiener that’s for sure! On January 24, 2025 he went past them easily and then was able to negotiate a very slick eagle 3! I have a feeling we’re going to see more of these from this guy! Way to go Ira.

Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be March 4, 2025.
