On Tuesday, March 4, Msgr. Gene O’Donnell, will give a St. Patrick presentation at the Villages Men’s Fun Social Club luncheon. Social Club members should make lunch reservations at least a week in advance on the computer website referenced in the monthly Social Club newsletter. Non-member guests are invited to attend and should arrive at the Clubhouse by 12:15 p.m.
Msgr. O’Donnell has been a priest of the Diocese of San Jose for the past 53 years, including serving as pastor for nine years at St. Francis of Assisi, which includes The Villages. He grew up and was educated in Ireland at All Hallows College and University College, Dublin. He received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
He continues to serve the Diocese, the Catholic Community in The Villages, celebrates the Spanish Mass at St. Francis, leads a Bible Group and writes an occasional piece in the Villager. He lives in Cribari Village.

Here in The Villages, Msgr. O’Donnell is a novice pickleball player, and a member of the Ironmen Golf Group and the Men’s Fun Social Club.
We encourage you to attend this interesting presentation as we celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day season.
