The VMA is now providing a new piece of equipment that you may find useful—a car door latch handle/assist that is designed to help someone get into and out of a car more easily. It will work with most cars.
The car handle support assist is small and can be kept in a car door pocket. It also can be used to cut off the seat belt or break the window in an emergency.
If you would like one, the VMA office will provide them at no cost (optional $10 donation). Simply stop by the VMA Office in Cribari, Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The VMA Office worker will record your contact information and hand you one.
