March 8 is the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament – 2 BB Net (with Shamrock Ball), four-man, shotgun 8 a.m. Teams, flighted, optional Pot O’ Gold cash pool – coffee/donuts shotgun at 8 a.m.
April 12 is Spring Open – Stableford, 2BB, 4-Man Teams, Flighted. Coffee/Donuts – Shotgun-8 a.m.
2025 Men’s 18 Hole Golf Club Member/ Member—The first MGC Major of the year will be the 2025 Member /Member. This is scheduled for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of May. This is limited to 48 teams. This always fills up and continues to be one of the favorite events of the year. Pencil this on your calendars and start working on your trash talking and your putting. You’re gonna want to be your best for this one.
2025 Evergreen Invitational—This year’s Evergreen Invitational scheduled for July 10-12. This is a MGC Major so, plan accordingly to be there for the fun and festivities! The next meeting will be held on March 11 at the Montgomery Center at 9 a.m. Try and make it if you can. There are a number of positions still to be filled and new members are always welcome. Home & Home 2025—Wow it’s here again and right around the corner! Our first event of 2025 will be at The Villages on April 8. We will host Almaden CC, Oakhurst, Blackhawk and Green Hills.
These are always special events. New friendships are made, beverages are enjoyed, old jokes are repeated, golf balls are passed out to the winners, and everyone has a great time! We’re certainly looking forward to another outstanding season. We currently have room for 10 more members, which is our cut-off point. Golf Thoughts: Remember when you got into the Jameson’s the night before the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament, and you thought it would a tremendous idea to decorate the cart? Well, you only have yourself to blame when it comes time to clean it.

Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be March 4, 2025.
