A cinematic collaboration of dance, rhythm and artistic vocals awaits you at the “At The Movies” themed showcase.
It’s almost showtime! Come see the shows on Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16 at 2:30 p.m. here in our very own Cribari Auditorium.
Movie soundtracks you are sure to recognize from “Pretty Woman,” “Old Time Rock & Roll” and “Goldfinger” along with performances by The Dancing Queens and The Bad Boys will take choreographic exploration to a new level!
The Bad Boys plan to bring an eye-popping performance of “It’s Raining Men” from the 2012 movie “Magic Mike.” The men’s group has grown to seven members and bring a playful perspective to the stage. They are an appreciated and talented addition to The Village Dancers.
The ladies performance group or “Dancing Queens” will command attention with a never-before-seen tap dance, a high-energy medley of James Bond songs and a dash of sassy Rock & Roll dance.
As an added bonus: Villages bassist Roger Dahlberg and pianist Larry Broderick will perform live, 30 minutes before each show. Artistic dominance comes to the stage, as a first-time ever, collaborative.
