The VMS Voices are three weeks in to the Spring 2025 Season and on their way to performing their programs on May 2 and 4. The theme this season is “Live Love Sing,” an uplifting program that is sure to connect the Villages community through music. Some of the songs you will enjoy are “What A Wonderful World,” “You Raise Me Up,” “Can’t Buy Me Love” and a very interesting Madrigal version of the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe,” and a few others. The Voices promise to inspire with the ever popular sing-a-long portion of the program and to entertain with door prizes, raffle and baked goods.
The Voices are one of the groups under the umbrella of the Villages Music Society. The objective of the VMS is to provide the opportunity for residents of the Villages to sing in a choral group, play a musical instrument, dance to choreographed numbers for their own enjoyment, and for the enjoyment of the community and audiences alike. The Villages Music Society seeks to improve these skills through the development of our talents with the aim to provide high standards of performance with quality production, accuracy and beauty.
Tickets for “Live, Love, Sing” will be on sale at The Village Dancers recital, “At The Movies,” March 13 to 15. The VMS Voices will be helping to manage the usher and ticket responsibilities for the “At the Movies” spring program, and will take the opportunity to begin ticket sales for the May 2 and May 4 performances.
