What an amazing summer of golf! We have enjoyed so many fun rounds this year! Tournament after tournament has kept us working on our game and managing our calendars. On Tuesday, September 3 the foursomes had a lovely summer day of bright sunshine and clear skies. In the distance we could hear the distinct busy call of the train whistle. Sixty-five players warmed up at the putting green and driving range. When the exit to tees began, excitement filled the pathways. All of us wish to be at the top of the Leader Board …today could be the day. Tuesday turned into a very special game for our Captain’s Trophy winners. Kathy Kyne on the front 9 with a net 30 (- 6 under)! Laura Swenson on the back 9 with a net 35 (-1 under)! Congratulations, ladies!

– Tuesday, September 24 – Swingers Mixer. Join in with the 18 Hole Ladies. The format is a #2 tees Cha-cha-cha. Sign up with Pam Short at pshort9038@comcast.net.
– Saturday September 28 – Clyne Solely Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored by the Shonis. It is a morning event on the Par #3 with 8:30 and 10:30 tee times. Prizes will be awarded during lunch at the Vineyard Club house.
