Now it is time to turn your attention to our Villages Mixed doubles tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29. Be sure to get your partner nailed down as soon as you can before someone else does. There will be only two draws: Mixed “A” and Mixed “B.” Hopefully we will have 8 teams for each draw.
And then, to celebrate all our Villages tennis skills, we have planned the Awards banquet for Sunday, October 6 at Foothill. We have planned a special catered Italian dinner consisting of:
Italian salad with olives, tomato, artichoke hearts, cucumbers and Irene’s (GiGi’s Kitchen) white balsamic vinaigrette, chicken piccata with a lemon, butter caper sauce, braised short ribs on horseradish mashed potatoes and all vegetarian carrots, asparagus, cheese ravioli with marinara sauce, wine, beer, and ice cream for dessert. This can all be your for $35. You don’t want to miss it.
