On September 7, the Village Challenge Bocce Tournament brought together locals, families, and bocce enthusiasts for an unforgettable day of fun, camaraderie, and donuts (Thank you Jeanne)! This year, we had 11 teams competing, and the bocce courts were filled all day with the sound of laughter, cheers, and the occasional friendly banter as teams squared off in intense yet good-natured matches.
Crowning the Champions:
As the day was coming to an end, the tournament culminated in a thrilling championship match between Village Del Lago and Village Olivas who had shown remarkable consistency throughout the day. With every roll, the crowd’s excitement grew, and after a hard-fought battle, Village Del Lago emerged victorious, clinching the title of Village Bocce Champions for 2024.
A luncheon followed at Gazebo Park, where we celebrated yet another successful Village Challenge! We hope to see you all next year!
