On Sunday, September 15, we came together to honor John E., surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all who joined us in remembering him and reflecting on the profound impact he had on each of our lives.
For those who may not know, John was my executive coach over the past year. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with two executive coaches, and there is a special bond that develops in such a relationship. When our Club Board President, Leslie Lambert, introduced us, it was clear from the start that John and I were a perfect match. His guidance helped me navigate the unique challenges of being GM here at The Villages, always offering wisdom, encouragement, and thoughtful reflections.
John’s passion for the Firewise initiative, particularly our shared journey in discovering FireAside software, was contagious. His legacy will live on as we launch the program next month. John was truly one of a kind.
