‘Living With Eternity in View’

By Pastor Bill Hayden

Any good businessperson always focuses their talents and energy on visualizing the results. At the end of the day, they may measure their progress. Sometimes, they will work backward to improve a particular product or process as if they are dismantling the first item or element. Executing the short-term goals process could be problematic because there is no quick fix to reaching the goal. The more significant challenge is planning for the long haul.

When it comes to living life with the end in mind, it is rare. The younger a person is, the less likely they are to think about it. For the most part, the idea sounds foreign to the person who seems to be living life to the fullest. It seldom enters their thoughts what the end will look like, how they will fit in, and if they will be prepared. Can you imagine setting a goal, and every day, you focus on the purpose of taking the necessary action to actualize the result, with Heaven being the destination?

Many people believe that there is a God, and some believe there is a place called Heaven, but few will live life taking the necessary steps to ensure they reach that divine destination.

If you are one of those individuals whose goal is to enter heaven, make it your business to plan and align your life daily so that you can follow through. When you act daily with heaven in view, your love for God and others will make a difference on earth and in heaven.

Matthew 7:21 NIV “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.”

Here’s a long-term plan: Stay In love with Jesus Christ, pray continually, read the bible, love your neighbors, walk by faith, believe God’s Word, and forgive others.

Please celebrate with us and experience the Good Life at the Villages Community Chapel in Cribari Auditorium every Sunday at 10 a.m. to be encouraged over the Word of Life and enjoy coffee and cookies with friends. The chapel is a place for needs to be met, faith to be affirmed, and new friends to embrace. You can view our worship services on YouTube at http://villagescommunitychapel.vgcc.club
