Pulse letters for October 17

Kudos for Cobalt!

When we heard Cobalt was going to replace Chelsea most of our golfers thought “Please don’t!” We’ve been using Chelsea for about 15 years, and we didn’t think a new system would be as good and certainly not better! After getting past the learning curve we now have a much improved tee time reservation system.

Adding players to a tee time request is faster. The use of both a Buddy list and Friends list make entering players easy. Cobalt has a cell phone app that is very handy. I can remove and replace a player in 15 seconds on my iPhone and get an immediate confirmation. And there’s no need to remember the confirmation number!

Our thanks to the management personnel who brought us Cobalt!

I concur with Walter Hlavacek’s Pulse letter printed on 10/3. Today my husband was reading the Club news and it mentioned that our new landscaper was holding two meetings on 10/2 to introduce the company. It would have been nice to attend this meeting. I did not know we had a new landscape contractor until last week when someone else mentioned it to me. The FastLane was much better at getting important news out to us. And we could get a small view of the news items to know if they applied to us. I understand that this is a work in progress, but it has a long way to go.
