Nearly 100 coats collected so far for Warm Coat Drive

By Toni Thunen

As of November 10, almost 100 coats have been donated to the One Warm Coat Drive. Some Villagers have also included warm socks and gloves as well.  The Coat Drive will end December 13, so look around your closets and drawers for warm apparel that could be put to good use by those in need. Many thanks for your good will!

All of the coats that are donated will be distributed in our San Jose community to help those who need them stay safe and warm this winter. Donated coats and jackets are saved from landfills and given a second life to people in need. One Warm Coat’s focus on fashion circularity and reducing textile waste is keeping millions of pounds of textiles out of landfills each year.

Please drop off coat donations at 8345 Riesling Way. If you have donations but are unable to drive to the drop off location, please call me at 408-809-4856 to arrange for a pickup.
