Doreen Senior visited Canadian family members—including her son and a brother—at the Sidney Marina “Sidney By The Sea” on the northern tip of the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island. The town of approximately 12,000 population is a popular tourist destination and very close to the city of Victoria, British Columbia. Doreen hadn’t seen these relatives for five years. She had a wonderful time with her brother, who is almost 94, sharing memories and catching up.
