Ben Friedlander completes 1000th hike to Villages summit

On November 21, 2024 at about 3 p.m., Ben Friedlander reached the summit of the highest hill in The Villages for the 1,000th time. It was a grand achievement, which Ben shared with four of his fellow Hiking Club friends—Bob Bogdanoff, Deb Siedband, Kris Carlsen and Gordon Carbonetti. Ben started hiking our hills four years ago, shortly after moving to The Villages. He is now working on his next 1,000 hill hikes. Congratulations, Ben!
