Bocce Bash is Back

Every Friday, starting March 7, the Bocce Club hosts a Bash get together. What is a Bash? It is a party or celebration, sponsored by a large organization and could be attended by famous people.
Well, our Bocce club bashes certainly qualify as a party or celebration. Our club has over 600 members and who’s famous? You are—when you get involved in bocce. Fun, food and socializing. Our Bash director, Tricia Hunt and her volunteers will be there to greet you.
Every bash is 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and meets at the bocce courts. The courts are ADA-compliant and a restroom is adjacent to Gazebo park. The attendees are asked to bring a snack to share and their favorite beverage if they plan to partake. Visit with other attendees, arrange a bocce game, enjoy some snacks. You don’t need to be a member to attend and actually, the bash is the ideal opportunity to try out bocce and see how much fun the game can be. Our membership chair, Jeanne-Anne Whitacre, can help anyone who wishes to become a member. Email her at jawhitacre@live.com
So mark your calendar, starting March 7 and every Friday thereafter through October 31.
Bring a snack, your beverage, maybe a chair and come have fun. Be sure to check us out for more information at our website https://villagesbocce.vgcc.club. Skilz classes, boot camp, tournaments as well as a full social schedule including a kick-off brunch March 2 can be found there.
