Camera Club to present wildlife photographer Joan Sparks

Please join the Villages Camera Club for an evening with wildlife and nature photographer Joan Sparks. Joan will focus her talk on challenges and pitfalls faced while on her adventures shooting wildlife, including camera settings, equipment used in the field and the emotional investment that goes into being a nature photographer. The program will take place on Tuesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at Foothill Center.
Joan’s work has been shown at Filoli, the California Coastal Commission and many other organizations around the Bay Area. She has been published in Birds and Bloom Magazine and several local newspapers. Joan is past president of several of the local photo clubs as well as having served on the Silicon Valley Open Studios Board of Directors. For the past nine years Joan has given wildlife lectures at local libraries, senior retirement communities and private clubs averaging eighty programs a year.
