Carolyn Jane Terrill passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024.
Carolyn was born in San Francisco, grew up in Belmont and later resided in San Carlos. Carolyn graduated from Carlmont High School and attended San Mateo College. Carolyn spent most of her 43-year career at Stanford Research Institute where she was manager of Government Accounting. She and her life partner, Kathy, moved to The Villages almost thirty years ago.
Carolyn was a devout 49er fan who grew to love the team starting in her early years while attending games at Kezar Stadium with her dad. However, golf was her first passion. She and Kathy devoted hundreds of hours to women’s golf including several years as scoring supervisors at the USGA Women’s Opens. A 30 year member of the Villages 18 Hole Women’s Golf Assoc, she loved playing on her “own” course in The Villages.
She is survived by sisters, Patty Liner (Rod’s wife) and Kathy Logan (Jim’s wife) and many nephews and nieces
