Caron Shahrestini to speak at June Cat Club meeting

Heather Haven is still under the weather and had to cancel her presentation for the Monday, June 23rd Cat Club meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. at Vineyard Center. Look for the yellow cat club sign.

With a stroke of luck, Caron Shahrestini is available and will step in. Caron will be presenting Paws, Paint and Portraits. Her skills and knowledge of the topic is surely one not to miss! A Cat Club member and cat owner, Caron shares her love of cats through her self-taught portrait skills. Plan to get immersed in a heartfelt 20-minute talk. Caron will share the story of how she discovered her artistic voice, developed her style and found deep meaning in creating portraits (especially memorial pieces to honor pets who’ve passed).

Caron’s journey is one of creative exploration, emotional connection and a love for the furry companions who inspire her work.

Please plan on attending and support Caron who willingly volunteered to present at the last moment!

As always remember to bring something for the “leave something take something” table. This is always free and provides to be a great way to try something different for your cat!
