Since the end of December 2024, the kitchen has been without a fully operational stove and convection oven, holding for fiscal year Q4-scheduled replacements. For The Villages Clubhouse, these are long-overdue and much-needed appliances. These changes will not only help keep our kitchen and staff safe, but the improvements will enhance efficiency in our food preparation—you may even taste the difference!
To reduce future disruption, we are taking the opportunity to complete some additional yet less intrusive repairs and maintenance to further improve efficiency and enhance safety. We’re installing necessary upgrades to several failed and faltering pieces of kitchen equipment. These products arrived earlier than anticipated and we’re excited to begin this project now.
The renovation will take place March 31 through April 4. The Clubhouse will be closed during this time. To ease the inconvenience, Chef John is introducing a preview of our BBQ Menu on April 3, serving the Patio and Bistro. Please come join us for some tasty grill favorites, with Chef John’s special secrets to make it a Villager treat.
Beginning April 4, Food and Beverage will be in full operation during regular business hours. When you visit, we hope you take advantage of our drink and new menu specials!
