On Wednesday, January 29, art lovers, theater buffs, and anyone with a taste for adventure won’t want to miss this exciting day trip to San Francisco’s Legion of Honor Museum, featuring The Art of Theatrical Design exhibit! This trip combines a cultural feast for the senses with a classic New England dining experience at The New England Lobster Market & Eatery.

The Legion of Honor’s latest exhibit, The Art of Theatrical Design, celebrates the magic behind the scenes, showcasing the artistry and ingenuity that brings stories to life onstage. Visitors will journey through costumes, stage sets, and design sketches from some of theater’s most iconic productions. It’s a must-see for anyone interested in the creative process, offering a rare glimpse into the world of theatrical design and the artistic mastery that drives it.

Following the museum tour, the group will head to the New England Lobster Market & Eatery for a traditional lobster boil. Each participant will receive 1.25 lb. of fresh, savory lobster, shrimp, sausage, artichokes, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions, garlic and sourdough baguettes, perfect for this authentic New England-style meal. This feast is the perfect way to end the day, giving participants a chance to unwind, savor delicious seafood, and enjoy the company of fellow art and food lovers.

The trip cost per person is $239 and includes entrance to the museum, lunch, trip escort and round-trip transportation. Gratuity for the driver is already included in the price. Additional tipping is at your discretion.

We will depart from Cribari East Parking Lot at 8 a.m. with an estimated return time of 4 p.m. The activity level is moderate.
