On Friday, January 17, get ready for a day filled with history and culture! The Blackhawk Museum is home to an incredible array of exhibits, from its iconic collection of rare classic cars to the Spirit of the Old West, an exhibit dedicated to the history of America’s Native peoples and the pioneers of the American West. Visitors will also enjoy “Into China,” a collection that showcases the culture and treasures of ancient China. The museum’s exhibits captivate visitors of all ages, bringing history and artistry to life in a unique and engaging way. We will receive a docent-led tour through their extensive world-class collection of rare vehicles, then get to explore the rest of the breathtaking exhibits on our own!
After our time at the museum we will head over to the Blackhawk Grille where we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the beautiful Blackhawk Plaza. Your lunch choices are an old-fashioned cheeseburger, Southwest beyond burger, grilled chicken or fish sandwich.
The trip cost per person is $136 and includes entrance to the museum, lunch, trip escort and round-trip transportation. Gratuity for the driver is already included in the price. Additional tipping is at your discretion.
We will depart from Cribari East Parking Lot at 8 a.m. with an estimated return time of 5 p.m. The activity level is moderate.
Registration for this trip opens Monday, November 25, in Building B. The deadline for signing up is Thursday, January 2, or sooner if seats sell out.
