It is also home to Central America’s highest concentration of Mayan people—an ethnicity whose cultural traditions, colorful handicrafts and tasty cuisine continue to endure the onslaught of modern society.
Through presenter David Couzen’s music, photography and personal stories, journey with Senior Academy to explore Mayan villages, Lake Atitlán, formed in a massive volcanic crater, and the lavish Easter processions in the beautiful colonial city of Antigua and Tikal, the most famous of the Mayan ruins.
