‘Fiddler on the Roof’: the cast is chosen and in rehearsal

That’s right, the cast is already hard at work preparing to present for your pleasure, “Fiddler on the Roof” this spring.
The VAT is delighted to announce that Jason Herfurth and Susan Pastorini, both of whom thrilled you in “Man of La Mancha,” will be the leading players in “Fiddler” in April. We are also very happy to have several newcomers as part of the cast, including Ken Mallon, Jayme Dickson, Melissa Aranoff, Vera Johnston and Christy Reid, in supporting roles. Along with a group of our regular performers, these actors will truly delight you with their acting and singing.
In addition, six members of the Village Dancers will be performing in one of the highlight moments of the show. On top of that, members of the Village Voices are ending a helping hand.
Performances are April 25 at 7:30 p.m., and April 26 and 27 at 2:30 p.m. in Cribari Auditorium.
Tickets go on sale in the Sequoia Room from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, April 19.
“Fiddler on the Roof” is the compelling story of a minority community enjoying life in their simple village when the “powers that be” decide they should be expelled from their homes, and nothing is ever the same.
Filled with fabulous music like “If I were a Rich Man,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “Tradition,” “Matchmaker” and ‘L’Chaim,” this Broadway production ran more than 3,000 times and has been reprised several times as well.
