Gate upgrades may delay entry traffic Dec. 5
The Director of Public Safety is advising residents and visitors of planned entry delays on December 5, 2024, as the community begins essential upgrades to the gate system at its sole entry point.
The project will replace gate motors and arms with modern, reliable equipment to update a system that is over 12 years old and no longer supported by manufacturers. These improvements are designed to reduce frequent closures caused by equipment malfunctions and ensure the gate system meets current industry standards.
Work will be carried out on one lane at a time, ensuring that the other lane remains operational to allow vehicles to continue entering the property. While this will delay entry traffic, vehicles will still be checked in as usual throughout the upgrade process.
We recognize the importance of keeping traffic moving while we complete this vital work. This upgrade is a necessary investment to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our entry system, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during this process.
Public Safety personnel will manage the flow of vehicles, and residents are encouraged to plan for potential delays when accessing the property on December 5.
