A fun time was had this weekend as the three ladies golf groups got together for a bocce challenge on Saturday, October 19. The challenge was issued for this second annual bocce event by the Shonis and there was a great turnout. Shonis won both their games while the 18 hole ladies won on total points and the long 9 ladies did their best. But everybody won as it was a beautiful day to get together.
After we all rolled our games, we enjoyed lunch in Gazebo Park and music by Ed Knott. It was a great way to get to know people we see frequently but don’t really socialize with much. The Villages offers so many ways to get to know other people with similar interests. And here we are, two groups that both involve little white balls. Haha.
