Close to 100 guests partied at the December 2024 Hiking Club’s Annual Holiday Party and thoroughly enjoyed the tastiest of appetizers and delicious holiday desserts planned by Bibi Bruce, Linda Albaugh and Social Committee.
After which, emcee Cheryl Allmen introduced David Bruce who featured the cheerful varied musical programs that began with the “Rio Trio”: Vera Johnston, Dennis Cullen and David Bruce who entertained with popular Brazilian and American tunes, followed by the dynamic “folk music duo” of Connie and Dan Kato, and later Bill Rodman singing Irish tunes.
A funny highlight of the evening featured some “Villagers Kids” singing a cheerful “Nuttin’ for Christmas” musical skit followed by a sing along led by Carol Baker. The fantastic evening ended with dancing music selected by DJ Ed Knott.
