Jerry lived a rich life, full in faith. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Jerry married Karen Hood in 1964 and they enjoyed 60+ years together.
He graduated from UCSB in 1964, served as a captain in the Air Force on the Minuteman III missile program, founded Kleinberg Benefits & Insurance in 1994, and retired in 2004. Known for his sharp mind, dry humor, and quick wit, he had a love of American history and baseball. Jerry loved his country and was a patriot all his life.
Jerry came to know Christ personally in 1979 through Romans 10:9-10, and his faith grew deeply. A student of the Bible, Jerry was a scholar and teacher of God’s Word to train and encourage others to ‘seek and find’ the life-changing truths God has given.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Karen, two children and three grandchildren. His legacy of faith and love will live on.
