Global Village to ‘Mindfulness’ presentation by Swati Malaviya

The Global Village Community Club invites you to a presentation on the practice of Mindfulness by Swati Malaviya on Wednesday, June 4 in the Cribari Conference Room from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

GVCC’s Wellness and Spiritual Group has invited a rare individual, a technologist who possesses in-depth knowledge, skills, and an understanding of various technologies in order to determine what can be improved and how to resolve problems and develop new and various processes. Swati is just such a person.

Swati began practicing Mindfulness some 20 years ago.  She trained as a Mindfulness facilitator and became a Certified Meditation Teacher.  When she received her Master’s degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology and in Biochemistry, she was able to marry the disciplines, the spiritual and scientific, to design and deliver mindfulness compassion workshops from a secular and scientific viewpoint, informed by a deep understanding for diverse spiritual teachings.

Swati’s mission is to help build a society characterized by heightened awareness, empathy, and resilience. She believes that it begins with mental health and emotional well-being of individuals. By empowering individuals with mindfulness tools and techniques, Swati helps them towards a more genuine, meaningful, and fulfilling life.

Swati will share her journey, talk about mindfulness and meditation and their differences, and finally she will lead us in a brief mediation prior to time for questions and answers. Please join us in the Conference Room at Cribari Center on June 4 at 7 p.m. Visit Swati’s website if you get a chance at https://mindfultools.net/
