2025 Men’s 18 Hole Golf Club Summer Open & Annual Picnic—This will take place on June 14 so get ready, it’s right around the corner. Scramble, four-man teams, Shotgun-8 a.m. Flighted. Barbecue at Gazebo following the tournament– coffee / donuts prior.
2025 Evergreen Invitational—The Villages Men’s 18 Hole Golf Club Evergreen Invitational will be held July 10-12 and the cost this year will be $850 per team. Time is running out and there are limited spaces left… so hurry and make sure you are a part of this!

Jim Valenti—This gentleman has won the Club Championship four times, and he played in the final twosome three times.
In 2007, besides winning the Club Championship he won the senior championship, and also the “Golfer of the Year,” by 150 points.
According to Jim, “It was a great year, and I don’t know anyone that has ever walked out of the final luncheon with three trophies, and they were hard to carry because they weren’t in a box. But I managed.”

“By the way I was a three handicap at the time. By the time 2012 rolled around, I was a four handicap.
Jim informed Don Chaisson the other day, that he shot his age for the 525th time (actually, by now 526th time)! Nobody does that, anywhere, ever!
Jim you are truly a Villages Treasure, and we are lucky to be able to call you our very own! Keep it up buddy! See you on the course.
Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be July 1 2025. MGC Members are always welcome to attend.
