Study Group on Senior Safari

It was a beautiful day in September, when a dozen members of the Villages Local Trips Study Group went on a “Safari.” The Senior Safari, especially designed for the young at heart, was held at Happy Hollow. The group met with a docent who took our group on a tour of the lower zoo and explained the habits and habitats of some animals not normally seen in a zoo. The lemurs were our favorite animal group to view. They lived together in a pod. The parents and teenagers climbed, ate, hid and groomed each other. Grandma had to be in her own separate area because she didn’t get along with her daughter-in-law. Everyone had a great time!
