The decision to protect member-only content with login credentials (username and password) has been solved by placing content-sensitive information on the Member Portal. The Member Portal, already protected behind a firewall, is the spot to access The Villages financials and Board voting records—the only content-sensitive information published in The Villager printed and online versions. To find this information and more, simply go to the portal’s Governance tab. We trust that this change thrills Villager Online readers.
To further protect the privacy and safety of our community and its information, we’re taking a second step. The Villager printed version will align to The Villager Online and no longer publishes our voting records and financials.
As a reminder to all Villager content contributors, article content and images are accessible to the World Wide Web audience.
