Meet Michael Actman, Pickleball Club Vice President

Meet Michael Actman, our Pickleball Club Vice President. Michael Actman and his wife have been proud residents of The Villages for the past eight years. Though the adjustment from life in Philadelphia and Denver took some time, the couple now feels completely at home in this vibrant community. In fact, they don’t see themselves ever wanting to leave.
Michael has embraced the active lifestyle The Villages is known for, immersing himself in sports and recreation. For the past two years, he has been an enthusiastic pickleball player, hitting the courts three times a week. He also enjoys playing tennis, golf, and spec tennis, sometimes doubling up on activities in a single day to make the most of his week. With such a full schedule, he humorously aspires to be the next Art Lind.
Family plays a central role in Michael’s life. With two married daughters and five grandchildren living nearby, there’s never a dull moment. Between sports, family gatherings, and soaking up the sunshine, Michael and his wife are thriving as active members of The Villages.
For Michael Actman, life in The Villages is full of energy, laughter, and love as busy seniors—proof that staying busy and engaged is the key to a fulfilling life.
