Tee times will be assigned by the Pro Shop.
Rescheduling tee times will not be permitted.
This is always considered to be an “MGC Major.” See you there!
Jim Valenti (88) – Shot his age for the 500th time!
Jim Valenti has achieved something 500 times that we all hope to do just once. In August Jim shot his age or better for the 500th time. This includes several rounds below 80, including a 75! Absolutely incredible. Keep going, Jim!
Eagle Shooter(s) for August!
Michael Schwerin—August 11 on Hole #16 during the Couples Invitational. Michael hit two great shots and finished with a pitchin from 50 yards out. The ball flew into the hole and stuck for a 3.
Scott Stephens, 2023 Club Champion—August 18 on Hole #2. Scott ripped a driver down the middle. His second shot was a 13-degree driver off the deck to within 15 feet. Scott sunk the putt for a 3. Great shooting, Scott.
Cannen Shaw—August 11 on Hole #2. From the four tees, Cannen piped his drive down the middle. Next a 5-wood from 190 yards, which came up six inches short of the green. Cannen then drained the right to left uphill putt for the three. Well done!

Larry Angel (81) Did it three times – August 7, 8 and 10 – 73! August 20 – 77.

Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month (except in July) at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center.
The next meeting will be October 1.
