Did you make it to the Pickleball Aloha Party? We had an amazing time on Friday night, with a stellar turnout, incredible food, and many of us danced the night away! We heard that some people were not quite up to par playing on Saturday morning… they had too much fun and sore feet from staying on the dance floor all night!
Michelle McQuay organized an incredible evening. The menu was delicious, the Clubhouse outdid themselves. The decorations were phenomenal, thanks in no small part to her excellent team consisting of Diane & Kyle Finley, Tina Parsley, Arthur & Cindy Yu, Sharon & Reggie Smith, and Anita Currer. They transformed the Clubhouse into an island paradise, what a transformation! Our MC for the night was Anahid Gregg, who tried her best to fill Michelle’s shoes.
Music was provided by Phil ‘N the Blanks, and the dance floor was crowded with people getting down all night. After the early birds left, the crowds may have thinned out, but many dancers stayed strong until the end.
All in all, a wonderful time was had. Make sure to put this event on your calendar for next year – every year Michelle manages to outdo herself, we can’t wait to see what’s planned next!
We’ve uploaded a few photos, but make sure to check back next week since there will be many more added. Did you take photos? Please send them to pickleballvgcc@gmail.com so we can include them!
