Public Works updates for the week of April 21

• Irrigation Is Being Activated by BellaVista

BellaVista and The Villages Golf and Country Club Management have begun to activate irrigation throughout the community this week. As the BellaVista team works to activate the irrigation controllers, we ask for the residents’ assistance in reporting any issues they notice with the irrigation. Irrigation is expected to run on the weekends, so, if anything is of concern, don’t hesitate to contact Public Safety. (See attached notice.)

• Turf Fertilization, Reseeding, and Arena Application

Turf fertilization application is scheduled for this upcoming week of 4/21 throughout all of The Villages. Fertilization is being done along with the irrigation being turned back on for the best results. We ask that residents do not walk on the lawns while fertilizer is being applied.

Reseeding and Arena application at various locations throughout the The Villages is scheduled for this upcoming week of 4/21. See attached Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for more information on Arena Product. We ask that residents do not walk on the lawns while seed and Arena are being applied. (See Arena SDS).

• Village The Heights – Gutter Cleaning on Grenache Court & Traminer Court

Gutter cleaning is scheduled to start on 4/21/2025 and be completed by 5/2/2025.
