Pulse letter for the week of April 10

Recently, I was approached very aggressively, because my husband dropped me off in a Tesla. A man I had never seen before got up off the bench and started talking about damaging Teslas. I responded that I wasn’t concerned because I lived in The Villages. He followed me to the door ranting about “…they’re killing people.” We were going to an Evergreen Foundation Event. The purpose of the EVF event was to celebrate the creative and monetary contributions Villagers make to enhance our environment for all Villagers. The kind of hostility, hatred and intimidation I experienced should not be tolerated within our gates. We are all entitled to our diverse opinions, but not expressed in misdirected animosity.
