April 1 Captain’s Trophy
Sheryl Driskell won Captain’s Trophy with a gross score of 79 and net score of 55. Jay Lee, Kitty Ohtaka, and Priscilla Piper, had 24 putts for a three-way tie. Susan Anderson had a birdie (#7) and chip-ins from Jay Lee (#9), Kitty Ohtaka (#12) and Suk Pau (#17).
We did not celebrate winners of Captain’s Trophy Day because the Clubhouse was closed. Those who stayed for lunch ordered from the patio menu grill and dined in the sunny outdoors. We will be celebrating the winners Thursday, April 10. Winners are listed in the Scoreboard section of the paper.
EC Partnership started April 1
The EC Partnership started April 1 and ends in November, so start racking up those eight EC days with your partner and win some money. Remember to check the Registration Table and pick up your EC card(s) every Thursday before your round if you want your score for that day counted and remember to return your card(s) in the EC box after finishing your round. If you do not return your EC card(s) for the round, your score will not be counted.
Beat the Pro
Bring your best game on Thursday, April 17 for our Beat the Pro Tournament. Sign-up sheet is available in the Posting Room. If you have any questions, go to Tournament Chairs Jay Lee and Geri Wilk.
May Captain’s Trophy
May’s Captain’s Trophy will be on Thursday, April 24 because the Handicap Tournament Qualifier will be on Thursday, May 1 to allow all golfers to qualify from the #2 tee box.
