Quilters Club present Villages veterans with Quilts of Honor

Quilts of Valor sign

Four Villages veterans—Paul Miner, James (Jimmy) Halliwell, John Suhr and William (Bill) Beardsley—received their Quilts of Valor on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2024.

To date, 30 quilts have been presented to our Villages veterans. Do you know of any veterans who put their lives on hold for service to our country? Are you one? Would you like a quilt to wrap yourself in in those down moments? Let a quilter know, or call me, Nancy Chesterton for an application form. You (or your family) only need to apply. No surprises allowed. These are meant to be like a hug from your fellow countrymen for your service to our country in our time of need.
